Cost Accountant

Job Title: Cost Accountant

Location: Pottstown, PA – 5 days onsite

Duration: 6-12 months Contract to Hire (Must be able to convert to Full-Time)

Interview Process: Video Interview followed by Face-to-Face

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 4 years of Cost Accounting experience with a manufacturing company
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Extensive experience with Excel (PIVOTS, LOOKUPS, IF STATEMENTS, CHARTS, INDEX, MATCH, CONDITIONAL FORMATTING) – must pass an Excel test
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Microsoft D365

Project Scope/Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with manufacturing facilities to provide key financial data for business operations
• Conduct root cause analysis and assess production efficiency
• Contribute to the month-end close process
• Oversee financial transactions related to inventory, plant expenses, and fixed assets
