Reports to UMR Director of Network Analysis and Contract Administration - a UMR Product and Services business unit.
Responsible for successful program design, compliance with network requirements, network assessment and selection, and program/product implementation of UMR’s network strategy. Position champions UMR’s network offerings internally and with customers by leveraging knowledge of the market and UMR’s capabilities. Network Program Managers may perform network analysis and strategy development, obtain data, verify validity of data and analyze data as required.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Understands and provides direction and training on UMR’s network solutions, requirements, and strategy including coordinating on RFP responses
- Participates in the development of UMR’s network strategy and capital prioritization
- Develops and manages the UMR’s network product to achieve objectives
- Coordinates activities with all parts of the organization to effectively implement new network strategies/solutions
- Assess, plan, implement and provide oversight/management for ongoing operational program support
- Manages UMR’s relationship with UnitedHealthcare Networks (UHN)
- Serves as key resource on complex and critical network issues
- Maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key customers

Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with network data management in a managed care environment
- 2 years of experience in provider data analysis
- Demonstrated ability to convey complex information to others and make it more easily understood
- Proven excellent communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with various levels of leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree
- Project management experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-directed, works with minimal guidance, and recognizes when guidance is needed
- Demonstrated ability to work in an environment with multiple projects and target dates, maintaining high quality and quantity standards
- Demonstrates highest level of business and professional ethics
Job Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Locations include Wausau, WI; or telecommuter
- Working in a normal office environment
- Limited travel may be required
