As a Marketing Manager, you'll be an integral part of Optum’s Home & Community Care marketing team, with broad regional impact and cross-functional team leadership and direction. You will manage relations with client marketing functions, developing and implementing solutions to drive key business objectives, including patient engagement, usage and retention of services as well as driving provider engagement. You will act as a functional subject matter expert and resource to senior regional leaders, central and local outreach teams, and clinical operations. This position is instrumental in optimizing the complete patient journey from eligibility, to awareness, education, engagement, retention and advocacy, including the ability to consider highly complex interactions across business pillars. This role is also responsible for considering and optimizing the caregiver/family member and provider experience with home-based medical care.

Primary Responsibilities:
Patient and Caregiver Experience:
Own the patient and caregiver journey through traditional funnel marketing - awareness, education, engagement, retention, advocacy
Collaborate with shared risk partners to create awareness for our service line among eligible members with an emphasis on growing engagement
Develop deep insights into patients and caregiver needs through research and data
Leverage insights to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to align the organization on most important improvements for our customers
Segment patient audiences and develop key messaging and touchpoints that are personalized and meaningful to patients
Develop innovative ways to smoothly guide customers through awareness and onboarding, in collaboration with outreach and operations
Measure and report results for key initiatives
Provider Experience:
Collaborate with our provider engagement directors to create awareness for home-based medical care among providers with eligible members with an emphasis on growing engagement
Collaborate with the strategic accounts/provider engagement team to translate value propositions into compelling narratives used to accelerate provider partnership initiatives
Lead provider marketing communication and content development
Measure and report results for key initiatives

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
7 years healthcare marketing experience, preferable with patient enrollment responsibilities
Proven detail oriented with proven ability to manage multiple brands
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience using graphics programs, including Adobe Professional
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a large, matrixed organization; flexibility to change, passion to lead
Experience in marketing automation technology
Experience managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and work both independently and as part of a team
Solid healthcare writing skills and experience, with ability to share samples
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence across multiple organizations
Demonstrated ability to take initiative to improve processes, think strategically and identify trends
Ability to travel 5-10% of the time; valid driver's license and proof of current insurance

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
