The PBM capability analyst is a replacement position and will support one of UMR's key value propositions needed for continued membership and IOI growth, our Optum Rx integrated solution. For 2023, we saw a 15% growth on this segment. This segment makes up 61% of UMR's customers base, and accounts for 33% of our membership. The PBM capability analyst will play a critical role in the ability to deliver Optum Rx products to UMR customers. They will also help manage large/complex customers with Optum Rx through our integrated solution. This position will work with UMR operations, OptumRx product, UMR and Optum Rx Growth and Retention teams, and Customer Solutions teams. This replacement position will allow UMR to enhance the value story and integrated service model for UMR customers with Optum Rx. This position may be customer facing and would not be a candidate for offshoring.

Primary Responsibilities:
Proactive review of ORx products
Product meeting facilitation with ORx
Internal UMR process management to approve and roll out new Rx products
Maintenance of all internal documentation, communications, and oversight of ORx processes (not just products, all processes to support the integrated model)
Provide applicable training to UMR AM and internal teams for new product rollout
Ongoing platform migration management for UMR and OptumRx
Assist in new business benefit analysis and review
Support Rx activity for National Accounts and large complex groups with OptumRx (Integrated Solution)
Support the UMR Medical Rebate product

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
1 years of relevant experience in the health care industry and extensive experience with assigned product lines
1 years of relevant experience working for or with Pharmacy Benefit Managers
Experience with Microsoft Word (creating, editing, saving documents) and Microsoft Excel (creating, formatting, formulating spreadsheets)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
1 years of experience working for OptumRx
1 years of product/project management experience. (i.e. experience managing developing and managing project plans)
