The program manager will be responsible for driving organizational and process maturity efforts for a cross-functional product and consulting team. This role will also be involved in process design and project management for multiple initiatives and areas within the organization (Client Management, Product Management, Analytics, etc).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Own the Program Management processes and tools/technology for the Advanced Solutions team
- Engage with stakeholders in various areas (Client Management, Product, Analytics, etc.) to translate stakeholder needs and requirements into scalable business operations processes
- Organize and manage multiple, concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Analyze and evaluate current business processes and workflow and make process improvement recommendations
- Document actionable solutions using appropriate artifacts (e.g., PowerPoint deck; written document) in order to describe existing processes and proposed solutions
- Provide operational instruction and guidance to senior leadership, managers and individual contributors impacted by business process solutions
- Obtain needed resources (e.g., different functional teams; subject matter experts; internal and/or external stakeholders) to implement business solutions
- Create and/or oversee processes to gather stakeholder feedback on process effectiveness
- Communicate with stakeholders to keep them informed of key project performance indicators and/or risks through informal and formal reporting
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functional areas and job levels to ensure consistent use and application of solutions across functions and teams
- Utilize stakeholder feedback and/or process performance information to identify potential continuous improvement opportunities
- Work cross functionally in a matrixed organization
- Keeps self and team focused and organized, overcoming distractions and obstacles to achieve goals/timeline
- Follow through on commitments and communicate early when commitments are at risk
- Manage multiple technical and operational projects and initiatives to completion, on time and within budget and scope
- Be able to implement plans for large-scale team goals across multiple departments and assist department heads in translating their goals both into the wider plan and communicating down to their team
- Advise best practices for organization of projects. Be able to identify differences in project-types across the organization in each department and assist each department head to maximize use of project planning best practices
- Identify risks and opportunities associated with current and proposed processes
- Understand technical complexity of products and technical challenges each product faces
- Design and perform insightful analyses as required to identify key business drivers of growth and efficiency / productivity, answer strategic questions and support delivery of internal business goals and client commitments
- Build and deploy a comprehensive project/program reporting strategy that delivers business value at both the individual business operations level and senior executive levels
- Work across multiple lines of business and supporting functions to organize and align resources to achieve objectives

Required Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in working with Project Management tools (Asana, Jira, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- 5 years program management experience leading large product initiatives simultaneously
- 5 years working with SaaS cloud hosted products
- 5 years of proven experience presenting to stakeholders and leadership
- 5 years Agile project management experience
- Experience working within an environment that is ambiguous and changing
- Deep knowledge of Product Development Life Cycle and Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced level of proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six Sigma or PMP Certification
- Asana experience
- Experience working in the health insurance industry or a highly regulated industry
