The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) specialist manages all search engine and marketing activities related to content strategy on our public provider portal, UHCprovider.com (UHCP). This person manages all search engine campaigns to maximize ROI. 3 main areas of responsibility include: On-page (anything on UHCP), Off-Page (anything digital outside of UHCP that helps with strategy) and Technical (technical improvements to search rankings).
The SEO specialist works with Product, Marketing and Content teams to improve the appearance and performance of the website to enhance the quality and quantity of traffic. This role is responsible for ensuring website visitors are successful and can quickly and easily accomplish their intended tasks. The SEO specialist monitors and refines internal search, fixing content gaps and tweaking to improve relevancy.

General Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the strategy and day-to-day execution
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to strategically develop plans that align with the integrated marketing campaigns and promotions
- Completes content audits on UHCprovider.com to ensure content is optimized and up to date
- Coordinates with Product, Provider Marketing to refine and optimize Coveo search results through weekly maintenance efforts
- Partner with Analytics to understand performance trends
- Helps maintains Digital Asset Management tool in AEM, ensuring that it is organized, updated and reflects the brand
Primary Responsibilities:
- Use analytics data to evaluate SEO, prioritize issues and develop improvement strategies
- Maximize search engine content discovery
- Investigate and improve individual Page/Product search engine performance
- Provide SEO requirements for new project work
- Perform SEO site audits to ensure the quality of implementation
- Optimize internal search engine using metrics and analysis of search behavior
- Analysis: Ability to review analytics data and to draw insights and conclusions. Use of Google Search Console and similar alternative data sources for keyword and ranking analysis

Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years of SEO: Experienced at implementing SEO strategies, with skills including redirects, spider control through robots.txt, tagging, site maps, content optimization
- 5 years experience with B2B, digital product, project management
- Experience in Adobe Experience Manager (or similar CMS), Siteimprove, Coveo, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- Web technology: A good understanding of basic web principals such as HTML, CSS, accessibility, forms, iFrames, URL and domain structure, and understand UX and content management systems
- Proficiency in data visualization ranging from simple excel graphs, through to dashboard construction (e.g., tableau). Demonstrated experience manipulating/combining data from multiple sources to provide actionable information
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to understand and interpret complex data sets

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
