Primary Responsibilities:
Function as product specialist to drive sales from lead generation to contract close
Identify prospects that manage and/or affect claims payments for insurance carriers, plans and third-party administrators, with particular focus in the healthcare segment
Participate in local and national trade shows and conferences as assigned
Handling sales presentations, proposals and pipeline management
Establish and nurture relationships with C-level buyers, senior Treasury/Finance contracts and/or other key influencers
Negotiate and drive contract execution
Capture win/loss feedback for sale improvement and product enhancement
Prepare monthly client forecasting reports for Executives, team leaders, and strategic partners
Maintain account records for clients in Salesforce, including opportunity details, pricing structure, contact lists and tracking sales activities
Stay continually updated on new developments in business-to-business (B2B) payment processing, particularly in the healthcare insurance vertical
Conduct market intelligence on competitors, including pricing and sales techniques
Work with Sales, Marketing and Product teams to plan, develop and execute sales strategies
Work with Implementation and Account Management to ensure client concerns are addressed, rapid on-boarding and ongoing retention

Required Qualifications:
5 years of healthcare payer selling experience
Experience contacting Treasury & Finance departments and/or other Senior-level operational contacts at healthcare payer companies
Experience in B2B payment solutions
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM applications to manage pipeline
Microsoft Office proficiency including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Availability to travel within the United States for trade shows and in-person meetings with prospects

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City, or Washington Residents Only Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City, or Washington residents is $60,000 to $130,000. Role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
