Unitex is currently seeking an Order & Receiving Administrative Clerk in our Warehouse located in Mt. Vernon, NY.
The overall function of this position is to assist in the many aspects that go into the overall maintenance of our customer database and to assist as needed in projects and reports produced by this department as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Back orders- create vendor purchase orders in Alliant and send orders to appropriate vendor
- Purchase order receiving- upon delivery of new goods ensure order are received in Alliant real time
- Direct sales orders - ensure goods are order and make sure the ds are scheduled for delivery once filled
- Auto replacement- ensure orders are processed and filled to meet the scheduled delivery day
- New business- process all new business 1st, 2nd & 3rd deliveries to ensure they go out on the scheduled dates
- Interactions with main office, service and sales departments
- Samples- order samples as required
- Label creation- create & print silk screen label patches
- Cycle counts- assist in the weekly cycle count audits
- igml’s- assist in entering orders in Alliant when needed and during vacation or absentee coverage
- Other tasks as deemed operationally necessary
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE OFFICE CLERICAL EXPERIENCE
- Must be bilingual (Spanish & English)
- Associates degree
- Proper phone etiquette
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Two years or more of related experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:45am - 4:15pm
Salary is $20 per hour. Some overtime is necessary.
