The OR Aide is responsible for transporting patients to and from surgery and cleaning operating rooms between and after surgical cases. Assists with environmental maintenance of the operating room and with the handling of surgical supplies. Performs technical patient care as delegated by licensed staff and performs other duties as required, including running errands to other departments.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- CNA Certification
- CNA Experience that includes 2 years of inpatient aide experience
- CPR certification
- On-Call responsiblities must be able to respond within 30 minutes
Preferred
- Perioperative experience
