Additional Duties and Responsibilites
5-8 years of experience
ØActs as a Logistics & waste management coordinator for the customer site
ØPrepares and confirm accuracy of all paperwork associated with shipping waste
ØReceives orders for pickup of customer waste
ØDevelops calendar for weekly, monthly and quarterly pickup schedules
ØCoordinates pickups with Univar, transporters, and appropriate TSDF’s
ØPerforms waste sampling and submittal to appropriate TSDF
ØCompletes site inspections and audits
ØBasic understanding of chemistry
ØConsolidation of non-hazardous & hazardous materials
ØInventories waste materials at customer locations and prepares necessary paperwork
ØTracks and maintains profiles submitted to TSDF, resolves profile issues
Qualifications
Education/Training • High School Diploma or equivalent. • General college science background in chemistry, biology, Environmental Science or comparable work experience. • Must have in depth knowledge of RCRA, and DOT, and EPA regulations, acquired through documented hands on work experience. • Current 40 hour Hazwopper . • Successful completion of Basic Plus (Houston Safety Rating Course), if applicable. • Respiratory FIT test, if applicable. • Function specific training. • Required customer-site specific training, if applicable. Grade 6-Requires a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in applying RCRA, DOT and EPA regulations. Grade 7-Requires 3-5 years of related experience in applying RCRA, DOT and EPA regulations. Grade 8-Requires 6 years of related experience in applying RCRA, DOT and EPA regulations.
