We are looking for an Ecommerce Associate to join our great team! The ideal candidate will be passionate about ecommerce, possess strong analytical skills, and have a keen eye for detail. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing our online sales channels, enhancing the customer shopping experience, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities Include:
Product Configuration (Internal and External)
- Interact primarily with merchandising functions, imaging and inventory planning to manage all product configurations in the content manager
- Manage site products and content
- Configure/add/remove/edit items per provide schedules
- Move product to clearance as per brands schedule
- Conduct daily audits of the website to ensure everything is correctly classified, feature colors have inventory, etc.
- Review product classifications prior to upload and spot check once live ensuring product placement is logical for the customer
- Assist in general departmental operations as needed
- Become expert in using the tools that will be encountered within this position
- Monitor and improve external product feed as needed
Content Management
- Schedule and maintain marketing/merchandising offer exposures in content manager
- Rank featured items at the top of click throughs from HP, Emails, Social, etc.
- Home page and site refresh
- Monitor site search terms and optimize search results
- Ranking strategy
- Review and optimize Search Spring and their product offers
- Review and optimize Certona and their product offers
- Review and integrate Certona (new KPP platform) to site
- Collaborate with merchandising to understand story and themes to translate to site
- Build categories as requested by brands
Reporting and Analytics
- Run daily/weekly standardized reporting on KPIs to assist in better business decisions and optimize conversion
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in Ecommerce/Site Merchandising is a must
- Experience working and communicating well within a team environment, departmentally, inter-departmentally, and with third-party partner providers
- Self-motivated and proven experience to excel without the need for micro-management. Ability to seek out projects and demonstrate optimal usage of time
- Flexible, willing to constantly learn, teach, and wear many hats in the ecommerce realm
- Interpersonal skills with commitment to professionalism and an upbeat outlook
- Supportive of change, solutions-oriented, and consistent intentionality to display courtesy and kindness
- Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy with a ‘measure twice, cut once’ mindset
- Exceptional time management and prioritization to execute many deadline-oriented tasks with firm completion date requirements
- Demonstrate experience with data management tools and techniques, including SQL queries, pivot tables, and Vlookups
- Must be extremely detail oriented and organized
Preferred knowledge and experience:
- SQL - Intermediate level preferred
- Google Analytics - GAIQ certification preferred
- Experience using an Ecommerce Site Search Provider
- Microsoft Office - Advanced Excel skills preferred
- HTML, SEO/SEM, Social Media/Social Marketing, E-Mail Marketing– Basic understanding
- phpMyAdmin (or other table based web platform) – Not required, but a big plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
