The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to work with children in 3 Divisions:
This is a one-year position (with the potential to extend if desired) to allow for determination of needs and establishment of clinical support structure for a long-standing child and adolescent psychology program to come.

- For the sleep medicine center, psychologist support is needed to provide play therapy, behavioral intervention and psychological education to children and parents with behavioral insomnia as well as neuro-diverse children with poor sleep habits and problems tolerating sleep therapies such as continuous positive airway pressure. This may require in-house assessments and regular counseling sessions for desensitization. Cognitive behavioral therapy for nightmares and behavioral insomnia will be needed.
- For the Gastroenterology division, psychologist support is sought for the assessment, counseling and therapy for functional abdominal pain and chronic conditions like inflammatory bowel disease or irritable bowel syndrome.
- For the Endocrine division, psychologist support is needed to assist with children adjusting to reproductive and gender-identity issues as well as chronic stress from diabetes and other medical conditions.

Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an APA accredited doctoral program of Master’s degree or higher in clinical, school or counseling psychology
- Completed a clinical internship
- Licensed or expected to be licensed within 12 months after graduation
- Post-graduate training/experience with children and/or adolescents with neuro-diversity
- If no experience with neuro-diverse children then interest in working with this population is strongly preferred.
