Position Summary
Provides and plans safe efficient age specific nursing care for patients / families related to lactation services.

Education
Other Accredited Program Diploma in Nursing Required or
ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing Required
BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
Work Experience
1 years Experience in assisting breastfeeding mothers, particularly in the inpatient setting. Required
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Knowledge of needs of antepartal and postpartal mother. Required
- Experience in assisting breastfeeding mothers, particularly in the inpatient setting. Required
- Evidence of ongoing continuing education and professional development. Required
- Uses selected technical (lactation) and office equipment (e.g., fax, computer, telephone) to meet patient and family needs. Required

- Completion of lactation educator training program with current certification Required and
- Must sit for IBCLC exam Required and
