Position Summary:
As the Leave of Absence Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating and administering the leave of absence process for UAB employees. Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating the sick leave donation process.
- Interpreting policies and providing guidance to employees, managers, and Human Resources Consultants.
- Approving ACT leave documents.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports related to leaves.
- Initiating and maintaining communication with all parties involved in the leave process.
- Recommending updates and clarifications to leave policies.
- Presenting and instructing groups on the leave of absence process.
Salary Range: $42,000 - $49,000
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Three (3) years of related experience required (Work experience may substitute for education requirement).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
