Pay Grade/Pay Range: 55 Hourly (non-exempt) - Minimum - $ 15.00 Midpoint - $ 18.81

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm; Some evenings & weekends
Job Summary: The Audio Visual Technician Senior responsibilities include scheduling, operating and installing various types of fixed and portable audio visual and teleconference equipment, minor maintenance, and routine preventive analysis of audio visual equipment with emphasis on the electronic equipment.
Required Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma or a GED and four (4) years of closely related work experience OR an associates degree or equivalent in electronics or related field and two (2) years of closely related work experience OR a bachelor's degree or higher in communications or related field. Experience including work with video-related software and hardware. Ability to use computer applications including, but not limited to: Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite (especially PowerPoint), anti-virus software, anti-spyware, and Norton's Ghost.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Experience with audio editing and CD generation software. Must be available to work varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of acoustical requirements and stage lighting.
