Job Summary
Under direction of the Director of the California Climate Hub, will act as the coordinator for Hub communications and outreach engagements. Primary duties will include developing and delivering communication products including reports, fact sheets, and research briefs; maintaining the Climate Hub’s monthly newsletter (development and delivery); creating web-based communications (e.g., story maps, blog posts) and updating the Climate Hub webpage; contributing to the development of decision support resources; and coordinating and participating in Hub outreach and engagement activities as needed, which may be held off-site. Other functions include developing and delivering presentations, coordinating meetings and webinars, and providing programmatic support to the Hub. The hire is expected to be a fully participating member of the Climate Hub staff and will have the opportunity to participate in Hub engagements beyond the scope of their primary duties as needs, time, and interests allow.
