What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aqua Fitness Instructor position at University of Florida?
Responsibilities:
- Guide residents through their aqua exercise programs and track usage. Customer service and resident interaction are top priorities.
- Answer general questions about exercise and fitness.
- Maintain facility and equipment hygiene.
Preferred times are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9:30am – 10:30am but can vary based on applicant’s availability.
$30.00/hr.
This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through student Other Personnel Services (OPS) and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week.
Group exercise certification required.
Certified in CPR and First Aid (Red Cross CPR-PR with AED or American Heart Association Healthcare Provider).
Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology as they pertain to exercise.
