What are the responsibilities and job description for the CRM Communications Specialist position at University of Florida?
Collaborates with the copywriter to execute the annual enrollment communication plan through the CRM in alignment with divisional priorities. Works with the MarComms team and EM functional units in the creation of effective communication strategies to increase engagement between prospective students and EM staff. Manages and implements email communication strategy, including audience segmentation, personalization, testing, scheduling, automation, and deployment. Creates and maintains communication templates within the CRM in alignment with university brand standards.
Requires deep knowledge of enrollment data at the undergraduate, graduate, certificate and professional levels; creates and maintains target audience reports within the CRM for delivery of broadcast emails to target populations. Assists with data reporting for users of the CRM (Slate, Salesforce) and maintains strong relationships with functional clients.
Support Slate needs of the admissions teams, including but not limited to marketing and communications, and event communication.
Stays current on trends, best practices, and new marketing/communication technologies and makes recommendations on the use of emerging communication technology. Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Intermediate HTML/CSS knowledge or the willingness to master the skill within the first 90 days of the job.
Strong oral and written communication skills and problem-solving skills with the ability to be resourceful, proactive and seek assistance as needed.
Proficient in responsive email design and front-end development.
Experience with JavaScript, Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM.
Google Analytics and Google Ad experience.
Knowledge of email compliance regulations.
Familiarity with email marketing and marketing automation technology.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and time management skills.
Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
