Title: Lecturer, CC English (Summer 2024/Fall 2024/Spring 2025)Job Number: 2024-00895Salary: Minimum $1,820 per credit hour (Summer 2024); Minimum $1,911 per credit hour (Fall 2024/Spring 2025)Job Location: UH Maui College (Maui County)Temporary/Part-Time Other Conditions: Part-time Lecturer applicant pool. Non-tenure, pending availability of funds and actual staffing requirements. Evening, weekend and or distance offerings for UH Maui College and or Outreach sites (Lana'i, Moloka'i) may be assigned as part of regular workload.Duties & Responsibilities: Teach assigned courses in the discipline qualified for.Maintain minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught. Prepare course syllabi, grading and reports related to teaching and student progressWork under supervision of discipline coordinator/division chairperson in integrating teaching efforts with other instructors in the discipline area.May include instructional assignments involving distance education. Minimum Qualifications: Education in Field: (a) Master’s in English;(b) OR Master’s in Writing;(c) OR Master’s in Fine Arts (Creative Writing)All minimum qualifications must be from a regionally accredited institution and met by the effective date of appointment.
