- Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion.�
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
- Experience with event planning.�
- Experience providing administrative support to senior level management, especially in a higher education environment.
Serve as Administrative Assistant in the Dean's Office in the School of Dentistry.�Provide administrative support for the Dean and the Assistant to the Dean.�Will also provide support for the following areas: Faculty Affairs, Continuing Education, Alumni Affairs, Technology/Innovation, and Marketing and Communications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet guests and manage the flow of traffic in the Dean's Office. �
- Manage departmental procurement card.�
- Event planning including scheduling rooms, ordering catering and audiovisuals.�
- Schedule and coordinate various school meetings and activities.�
- Coordinate travel arrangements and complete travel expense reimbursements.�
- Provide support to and back up for the Assistant to the Dean.�
- Monitor and manage the Dean's Office email Service Account, handling both internal and external inquiries.
- Oversight of Dean's Conference room.�
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies.�
- Assist in the management of Dean's Calendar.�
- Serve as liaison to the School's Staff Assembly.�
Provide support for Faculty Affairs, Continuing Education, Alumni Affairs, Marketing and Communications and Technology/Innovation as needed.
