The College of Natural Sciences, Forestry and Agriculture is seeking a highly qualified person to fill the position of Finance Manager. This position reports directly to the SR. Finance & Budget Manager in the college Finance Office. The position will provide financial services to several units within the college and will work directly with the unit leaders and faculty within those units. The college is a complex organization made up of eight schools, three additional academic departments, numerous teaching and research facilities, five research farms, a green house, a marine center, and the University Forests. The college has a base budget of approximately $35 million dollars and approximately $30 million in grants awarded annually. The Maine Experiment Station receives annually appropriated formula grants with unique compliance and reporting requirements. The typical hiring range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
