The University of Maine at Presque Isle is seeking to hire a Project Coordinator for the Installation of a ChatBOT. This is a one-year (12-month) fixed-length, remote appointment.
The Coordinator will provide consultation, support, and/or assistance to faculty staff and students regarding the installation of a CHAT BOT for every department on Campus. The coordinator will have significant knowledge of Information Technology and of Artificial Intelligence such that her/his management of the CHAT BOT installation and support of the campus community will be successful. Work in this classification requires a knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of technologies to effectively support clients’needs.
Work consists of varied duties requiring the application of unrelated processes, procedures, and systems to solve operational issues. Requires an understanding of how systems interact among each other and in terms of organizational needs. Incumbents are generally familiar with the operation of multiple systems, applications, and databases, and may provide support to less experienced staff. Incumbents at this level are generally considered to be specialists in their assigned area(s).
Based on the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant, the salary for this position is $42,643.00 plus a 10% employer contribution to the UMS retirement plan. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, and tuition waiver programs for employees and dependents.
