What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist, Inpatient, Weekends, PRN position at University of Maryland Medical System?
This is for a PRN PT position - weekends mandatory, weekday shift available but optional
- Provides therapeutic care and services to patients, including assessments, treatment program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication of Physical Therapy, who have been referred by a physician for rehabilitative care.
- Conducts therapeutic activities and practices values and attitudes congruent with the profession’s standards and ethics.
- Serves a patient population ranging in age from adult through geriatric.

- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program and/or certificate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current temporary or permanent license to practice physical therapy in the State of Maryland.
- BLS required.
- 1 year of clinical experience and previous experience related to the scope of services provided in an acute care facility - Preferred
- New Grads are strongly encouraged to apply
