Primary Purpose of Department | The Office of OneIT provides highly reliable information technology infrastructure, tools, and services to empower the University to achieve its academic, research, administrative, and service goals. The Office of Academic Technologies provides technology consultation and support for faculty and staff in the College of Humanities & Earth and Social Science (CHESS) and the College of Science (CoS) including software, hardware, labs, web publishing platforms and documentation of technologies for teaching, learning and research. |
Primary Purpose of Position | This position provides third-level technology support primarily for the Department of Biological Science and secondarily for the Department of Chemistry including advanced support and troubleshooting for specialized hardware, software, and peripherals. It also provides direct technical support to assist functional users in analyzing their problems, workflows, and processes and offers appropriate recommendations. |
