Work Schedule | 5:00 am - 1:00 pm; Monday - Friday This position is designated as 'mandatory' and, when contacted to report to work, its incumbent is expected to reach the campus as expeditiously as possible using normal precautions as dictated by the adverse weather conditions. |
Primary Purpose of Position | This position is the Building Services Second Shift Crew Leader, responsible for overseeing personnel and procedures of all second shift activities of the Building Services unit as well as working weekends as building and programmatic needs dictate. Responsible for late afternoon/evening crew leadership in the absence of the Building Services Supervisor. To maintain clean and sanitary conditions in classrooms, labs, lecture halls, offices, common areas, restrooms and various other areas within Academic, Athletic, and Administrative buildings on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. |
Minimum Education/Experience |
Required Minimum Qualifications: Some knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. University Preferred Qualifications: Some knowledge of cleaning procedures, two years of experience demonstrating the ability to operate specialized floor-cleaning or other cleaning equipment and in performing medium to heavy physical work; or three years of experience as a housekeeper; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. |
