General Description / Primary Purpose
The position will focus on managing the Graduate School budget, office procedures, staff liaison, etc.
Essential Duties
Job Function
- Provide administrative support to the Graduate School Directors and Dean
- Assist in the design, development and implementation of departmental processes and programs to improve workflow and promote systems efficiency under the direction of the Graduate School Directors and Dean
- Manage budget and processing of supplies, travel, promotional items, advertising expenses, operating capital, awards, other services funds, etc.
- Manage processing of and web sites for Graduate Faculty, Graduate Program Directors, and Graduate Council members
- Process and track renewal eligibility for all Graduate School awards and waivers including Graduate Assistants, Graduate Research Grants, Graduate Student Awards, ASLAW, Auzenne Fellowship, Pathways Scholarship, and Graduate Student of the Month
- Process student forms such as thesis/dissertation graduation requirements, Leave of Absence, and Clear Prior requests
- Serve as liaison for approval of cross-level listing of courses
- Assist with event preparation and implementation
- Coordinate and manage meetings arrangements, agendas, minutes, etc
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
This position requires either (a) Master’s degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization ; (b) Bachelor’s degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization and two years of experience directly related to the job functions; or (c ) 6 years of direct experience.
