Translate Archaeological and environmental data into digital format, performing standard GIS based standardization, acquisition, and data entry. Use GIS technology or SRARP archaeological compliance.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Bachelor’s degree in geography or related field and 2 years related GIS experience, or an associates degree in geography or related field and 4 years GIS related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in GIS and three years experience in the Central Savannah River Area archaeological history with a specific focus on the Savannah River Site, Aiken, SC
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of graphic hardware, ArcGIS software, spatial analysis and cartography. Ability to communicate effectively.
