Job SummaryWorks under general supervision to oversee inspections, quality assessment, and quality assurance for the campus wide custodial services, including but not limited to clinical, research, and academic space types. Assists in the review and implementation of the cleaning requirements and service level standards of the custodial contract. Acts as a liaison between contractors and university staff. Collects, maintains, and organizes all relevant data that documents function and status of quality management processes or programs.
Work Location: All of main campus, including outside of Clements University Hospital (CUH) and Zale Lipshy.
Schedule Requirement: requires flexibility with work schedule; 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM - Monday through Friday, with nights and weekends when necessary.

Experience and Education- High School diploma or equivalent; associate degree in related field preferred.
- Two (2) years of housekeeping or quality assurance experience.
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of cleaning management software.
- Assists administrative and technical personnel in developing, organizing, and evaluating quality management program goals and objectives.
- Identifies and investigates with defined parameters; documents and reports all adverse occurrences and potential problems in conjunction with Contractors Quality Control, Director and/or others as needed.
- Submits data trends and outcome assessments; assists in developing new measures as appropriate.
- Organizes data gathering and prepares data reports.
- Handles sensitive issues and medical/social information in a professional and confidential manner.
- Manages event support by providing pre-event inspections, timely estimates and processing requests related to custodial services.
- Maintains, updates and trends QA and QC deficiency reports.
- Assists in executing an annual space true-up and space audit of cleanable space.
- Coordinates emergency after-hour custodial response support.
- Reviews and monitors the housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
- Reviews and monitors cleaning procedures and protocols for cleaning and custodial services.
- Conduct regular inspections with custodial vendor to ensure quality control and adherence to cleaning standards.
- Responds to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules and special projects.
- Keeps abreast of industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
