Job Description:
Manages relationships with internal and external referral sources to increase the number of admissions to the inpatient units through effective prospecting, presentation and follow-up skills. Plans and coordinates educational opportunities for referral sources through agency networking. Develops relationships with prospective referral sources and troubleshoots issues between community agencies.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, RN or related field required.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Basic computer competency required.
3. Working knowledge of hospitals, health care, marketing planning and service/product development required.
4. Experience in public speaking and public relations required.
5. Car available for work and valid driver’s license required.
6. Must possess the physical stamina to meet needs of the position. Must have adequate vision and hearing necessary to perceive the needs and reactions of customers. Available for flexible work schedule; may involve evening and weekend work.
