Handle incoming calls from internal and external customers. Monitor employee security and enforce store policies. Open and distribute mail. Generate and complete various reports for store departments.

Responsibilities
Answer and refer telephone and in-person inquiries from customers, applicants, and others in Campus Store in a helpful, cooperative manner. Answer most incoming calls within 3 rings. Scan calendar for upcoming events to respond to customer needs. Verify that all personal items have an authorized security sticker. Verify register receipt for retail items. Prevent coats and backpacks from entering store. Stop all non-store persons from entering store without a guest pass. Attend to Store Asset Form, and store-use mail duties.

Nearly Continuously: Office environment.
Physical Requirements and Level of Frequency that may be required
Nearly Continuously: walking, hearing, listening, talking.
Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), sitting.
Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead, lifting (up to 50 pounds).
Minimum Qualifications
This is an entry-level position. Training will be provided. Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills and the ability to pass a security clearance is required. Some positions require a minimum of six months cashiering experience.
