Per Diem Registered Nurses must commit to work a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours per four (4) week scheduling period as follows - Inpatient, Radiology, and Dialysis: At least sixteen (16) hours of the forty-eight (48) hours must be weekend shift hours and at least sixteen (16) hours of the forty-eight (48) hours must be scheduled for the evening or night shift. These hours can be combined to meet the requirements. A minimum of one (1) summer and one (1) winter holiday may be required. You will be working at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse(RN) to:
Join our team of remarkable nurses in providing intermittent dialysis and support services for continuous renal replacement therapy to patients of all ages.
Provide hemodialysis treatments at the bedside for patients requiring one-on-one intensive or intermediate level of care throughout University Hospital, American Family Childrens Hospital, East Madison Hospital, Veterans Hospital and Meriter Hospital.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in the treatment and management of care for patients requiring hemodialysis in the inpatient setting.

Education:
Preferred Baccalaureate degree in nursing.
Work Experience:
Minimum Six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Healths Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact. Current CPR/BLS Certification. ACLS within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Relevant certification.
