Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a student assistant in the English department on the Gainesville campus.
Responsibilities
- Duties consist of assisting English department faculty with special projects and events,
- including preparing materials,
- assisting with setup and refreshments,
- maintaining the English majors lounge and assisting English majors with questions,
- assisting with correspondence including emails and telephone,
- other duties as assigned by English department leadership.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Effective communication skills both in-person and in writing, positive attitude, ability to organize and follow through on assignments, ability to work in an office setting in a professional manner, maintain confidentiality, work on projects with minimal supervision, self-motivated.
Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
