Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development and Management:

Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive recycling programs tailored to the specific needs of various departments and facilities. This includes setting clear objectives, strategies, and timelines for each program.

  • Audits and Assessments:

Conduct regular audits and assessments of current recycling practices to evaluate effectiveness and compliance. Identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans to address gaps.

  • Education and Engagement:

Create and deliver engaging educational materials, workshops, and training sessions to raise awareness about recycling best practices. Foster a culture of sustainability by encouraging employees and community members to actively participate in recycling efforts.

  • Vendor Collaboration:

Build and maintain relationships with local waste management and recycling vendors. Work collaboratively to optimize collection and processing services, ensuring that our recycling efforts are efficient and effective.

  • Performance Monitoring:

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of recycling programs. Regularly analyze performance metrics, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to management, highlighting achievements and areas for further improvement.

  • Regulatory Compliance:

Stay informed about local, state, and federal regulations related to recycling and waste management. Ensure that all programs and practices comply with applicable laws and guidelines.

  • Community Events:

Organize and promote community events focused on recycling awareness, such as cleanup drives, educational fairs, and workshops. Engage local schools and organizations to foster a sense of community involvement in recycling efforts.

  • Stakeholder Liaison:

Serve as the primary point of contact between [Your Company Name] and external stakeholders, including government agencies, environmental organizations, and community groups. Advocate for recycling initiatives and represent the company's interests in relevant forums.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred. Additional certifications in waste management or sustainability are a plus.

  • Experience:
