General Summary:
General SummaryThis role is responsible for supporting technology initiatives and projects that span multiple People & Communications disciplines. The individual in this position will participate in cross-functional initiatives to gain increasing system configuration experience, business exposure and knowledge.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge and expertise of Workday, ServiceNow and other technologies to act as a super user and functional expert for the People & Communications (P&C) department and other internal customers.
- Participate in requirements gathering, testing, and change management associated with upgrades, innovative solutions and enhancements.
- Partner with functional teams on functionality changes, business process updates, configuration, and documentation for Workday, ServiceNow and other technologies.
- Provide first line of support for the People & Communications Technology organization on Tier 3 inquiries from P&C or the business. Escalate issues, themes and trends to teammates as needed.
- Develop technical skills required to configure Workday, ServiceNow and other technologies to support the business. Configure system for necessary changes.
- Partner with P&C and IT to facilitate the testing and troubleshooting of configuration and test data, collaborating with internal P&C Technology and P&C resources and potentially external vendors. Create and maintain new and completed test plans for changes occurring in the system.
- Work with IT and business partners to establish necessary controls and checks to ensure data and system integrity is maintained.
- Support P&C Technology and reporting projects and initiatives that require multiple resources, dependencies and ensure objectives are delivered on time.
- Support the Workday, ServiceNow and other technology release processes to ensure continued effectiveness and integrity of existing solutions.
- Assist in developing and updating process documents for the P&C Technology team.
Job Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of related HR systems and business analysis experience.
- Develops and administers Human Resources Information Systems while gaining exposure to more complex systems issues in supporting a HR Organization.
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Ideally has HR functional experience.
