What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) with deep expertise in blockchain technology, DeFi, and the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of driving growth, creating value, and leading high-performing teams. This role requires a strategic visionary with exceptional leadership skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a global perspective, particularly in understanding Asian markets, with a potential relocation to or regular travel to New York City.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Ecosystem Strategy: Align strategies with our organizational goals to ensure long-term growth and stability.
- Establish Strategic Partnerships: Form and nurture relationships with key blockchain projects and DeFi protocols to strengthen our ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Technical Teams: Ensure seamless integrations with partner networks.
- Identify and Pursue Opportunities: Seek new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances.
- Lead Negotiations: Structure commercial deals with industry stakeholders.
- Nurture Relationships: Maintain strong connections with exchanges, wallets, institutional investors, and other blockchain projects.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and execute a commercial strategy that supports revenue growth and market expansion.
- Alignment with Product Development: Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to align commercial objectives with product development and market positioning.
- Oversee Go-to-Market Strategies: Manage the launch and market introduction of new products, services, and partnerships.
Qualifications
- Crypto-Native Expertise: In-depth understanding of blockchain technology, DeFi, and the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem. Experience with major blockchain projects is highly desirable.
- Proven Track Record: ~5years of experience in business development, partnerships, or a related field, with at least ~3 years in the blockchain/crypto industry.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated success in developing and executing business strategies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience building and leading high-performing teams.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-motivated, with a passion for innovation and a willingness to take calculated risks in a rapidly evolving industry.
- Global Perspective: Understanding of global markets, particularly in Asia, with a willingness to relocate to or regularly travel to New York City.

Salary : $185,000 - $225,000
