Roles & Responsibilities :
The primary responsibility of the Marketing Manager/Sr Manager is to grow upGrad’s various education programs in partnership with leading Universities in Singapore. We are looking for an innovative and experienced education-focused marketing leader to join our team. This is an opportunity to develop leadership skills across the board, from brand marketing and performance marketing, through PR and traditional media outlets. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to work with peers and functional leadership from around the world. To be successful, this person will rely on their learning domain and marketing expertise to create compelling messaging and positioning and execute cross-channel activities to promote thought leadership and to drive awareness and most importantly, enrolments.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for both external partners (universities, marketing agencies, freelancers) and internal partners (VPs and Directors of Program, Product, GM and CEOs of various geographies)
- Own performance marketing performance through deep understanding of campaign strategy and close partnership with single or multiple agencies
- Build engaging and compelling strategies, and then execute via analytical campaigns and assets using various formats to fulfill marketing goals. The goals are largely oriented around customer acquisition but should manifest end to end, including retention and post-graduation outcomes
- Develop and write positioning, messaging, learner testimonials and success stories showcasing the ROI on learners’ investments
- Engage with government agencies and funding partners to enable effective affiliate relationships
- Manage reputation and SEO value through third party affiliate marketing
• Own market research for new and existing programs, and work closely with the program and central marketing team to develop first-hand knowledge of our learner personas, and drive relevant positioning, messaging, tactics, content, and assets • Think through content marketing, on the ground activation, PR, and any cross functional support to distribute & communicate messaging, execute campaigns and events to fulfil industry leadership and develop B2C pipeline
Requirements
- B2C marketing experience in higher education, preferably with global/international exposure
- Expertise in learner acquisition and new market entry/penetration
- Track record of executing successful marketing, brand, and communication campaigns
- Proven success launching new education programs (degrees and certificates)
- Entrepreneurial self-starter
- Passionate about education and student journeys
- Innovative, adaptive, resourceful, inclusive and accountable
- Deeply analytical with soft skills sufficient to influence at all levels of an organization
- Focused on doing what’s right for the business. High energy and enthusiastic
