About the Physician Liaison Role
Upperline Health is seeking a Physician Liaison to drive the strategic growth of clinic sites in the Daytona area. The Physician Liaison will be accountable for driving patient visits and brand awareness for assigned clinic locations with a strong focus on developing relationships. The Physician Liaison will partner with the Management team on the region’s strategy and planning process to set, track, and execute on goals related to new and ramping clinics in the region. With a leadership mentality, the Physician Liaison will initiate collaborative problem solving, drive performance, and foster culture. To do this successfully, this individual will need to frequently engage with the community. This candidate must demonstrate exceptional networking skills, have great attention to detail, work with minimal supervision, and be able to adapt and thrive in a fast-changing growth environment. As Upperline expands, this individual will be able to explore a wide range of career opportunities within the company.
This position will cover our clinics in our North Florida market in and around Jacksonville and St. Augustine -. Candidate must reside within the area and be able to visit physician offices across the market on a weekly basis.
What You'll Do
- Accountable for leading the growth and success of new practices through a hands-on approach
- Engage locally with healthcare systems and hospitals to introduce our doctors and services and be the conduit between our clinical services team and the referring physicians that we serve
- Routinely visit PCP and other specialty care practices to initiate a referral pattern through strong clinical relationships between the practices. Coordinate opportunities for our physicians to communicate effectively and regularly with those referral sources
- Embody Upperline Health’s mission and vision and share that messaging through the community
- Meet regularly with clinic operations and provider to align on short-term goals
- Consistently check-in with doctors and clinic management to secure buy-in along the way for all new clinic launches, both in the lead up to opening and beyond
- Work with the marketing department to execute on the marketing plan for de novos
- Follow a strict timeline to establish referral drivers so that the clinic is busy on day one
- Huddle regularly with colleagues from other regions to share best practices and tactics
- Maintain organized records of activity and contacts in the CRM system
- Ensure our provider is engaging in all appropriate marketing activities to ensure the growth of the clinic and report back to management any challenges in achieving this
- Serve as a valuable resource for Upperline’s physicians, clinic leaders and staff as well as develop and foster Upperline’s top-tier culture
- Utilize data from the clinics in your region, regularly report on and track the activity and results of the sales initiatives and initiate internal consultation to optimize where opportunities present
Qualifications of the Physician Liaison
- Demonstrated ability to develop professional relationships
- Medical Assistant interested in entering medical sales or marketing is desirable
- Multi-site healthcare sales or marketing is strongly preferred
- Previous experience working with physicians is a plus
- Self-starter with demonstrated problem solving skills, and flexibility to work in a fast-pace and evolving environment
- Proven leadership skills and passion for people and culture
- Strong customer service orientation
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Excellent Word, Excel, PowerPoint and data management skills
