OVERVIEW
The position exists to help organize and administer projects and tasks for UPPERROOM’s Ministry Pastors and Teams. The qualifications required for this position are strong communication, organization, systematic and administration skills; a person of integrity with an attitude that is friendly, flexible, patient and adaptable to change. This person must have a desire to work in excellence. This person needs to be able to handle many things at once and thrive at multitasking according to deadlines. Primary focus is to provide secretarial, clerical and administrative support as needed for UR Pastors and Teams.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
-Be present at any necessary meetings relevant to the Campus Pastor as needed.
-Manage ministry budgets as needed: keep a record of expenses, receipts etc.
-Manage all forms of correspondence including voicemail, e-mail, and regular mail as needed to ensure a smooth flow of communication to and from the members of the Campus Pastor. .
-Manage calendar for Campus Pastor as primary contact person for meetings and other scheduled commitments.
-Initiate, edit, and distribute email communication as required.
-Maintain filing systems as needed to ensure easy access to important records and documents
-Assignments may include compiling and analyzing data, coordinating multiple concurrent activities, and interacting with individuals and groups at most levels in the organization.
-Manage Planning Center scheduling & communication for pillars if applicable.
-Order, organize and manage resources and supplies for pillars.
-Assist Campus Pastor with scheduling and creating external communication requests for weekly campus email, weekend service announcement video etc. as relevant to the events going on within Ministries.
-Coordinate meeting logistics for the Campus Pastor including booking meeting spaces, ordering and setting up food as required, etc.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in administration or organizational operations. The candidate must demonstrate character, strong team chemistry, attention to detail, and alignment with the UPPERROOM “in and out” culture of prayer, worship, and service.
