What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at Upstairs at Pierre Lafond?
Ideal for a stand out sales associate or employee looking for greater responsibility as the position responsibilities are additional to employee responsibilities. Managers should be pragmatic problem solvers, forward thinkers and well versed in store operating systems and procedures and customer service oriented.
This is NOT an independent position. Managers work directly with the store buyer to oversee that daily operations are up to company, buyer and store standards.
Manager is to work in the store a minimum of 4 full days a week to ensure continuity and commitment.
Management:
- Ensuring store directives and expectations set by the buyer are met.
- Assist in daily operations.
- Setting monthly staff schedule.
- Solving scheduling issues as they arise to make sure store is properly staffed.
- Confirming staff has adequate supplies for daily operations.
- Assist the sales team effectively
Customer Relations:
- Resolving issues as they arrive.
- Late returns, damages and exchanges.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Custom to buyer needs.
- Split sales monthly
- Assist in Instagram posting & communication
- Starting hourly rate $20/hour
- Additional hourly when appropriate
- Incentives when appropriate
