We are looking to hire compassionate, professional, and versatile Residence Managers to support a variety of individuals who experience disabilities. Our ideal candidate would have the ability to work independently, think quickly, and problem solve. You must have a positive outlook regarding individuals with developmental disabilities and seek to improve their overall quality of life. Specific duties vary depending on the support needs of each individual.

Typical duties include:
- Act as a role model demonstrating positive communication and good social skills and emotional intelligence.
- Ensure Individual Program Plan (IPP) is implemented and documented.
- Ensure the accomplishment of individual’s goals and behavior plans.
- Oversee the safety and well-being of the individuals.
- Maintain the timely completion of all records and reports, as directed.
- Supervise the daily shift operations of the residence.
- Problem-solve daily shift issues and/or conflicts as part of the site leadership team.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, petty cash and personal funds.
- Establish and effective contact with all vendors.
- Monitor operation and condition of the residential facility and supplies, ensuring building security.
- Participate in activities as part of the treatment team that may include meetings, trainings and committees.
- Develop and maintain an effective communication network with the individuals, program staff, families, community agencies, and other Agency departments.
- Establish a work environment that creates positive communication between supervisors and employees and assimilates new employees to the Agency’s culture, values and mission.
- Ensure compliance with all pertinent government and agency regulations and operating standards.
Requirements, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Associates degree in Human Services or related field, BS/BA preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience.
- Knowledge of basic computer programs (Including Windows Office Suite)
- Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License.
