Job Summary:
In charge of disassembling and cleaning equipment, is responsible for disassembling equipment to clean and refurbish it.
This role contributes to cost savings by extending the lifespan of equipment and maintaining operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Disassemble following specific procedures and using appropriate tools.
Thoroughly clean equipment components to remove petroleum product residues, mud deposits, and other contaminants.
Inspect disassembled parts to identify damage, wear, or signs of corrosion. Perform minor repairs if necessary, such as replacing seals or worn parts.
Assemble equipment after cleaning and repair, following manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and tools used in the disassembly and cleaning process.
Follow strict safety protocols when handling petroleum products and using tools and equipment.
Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to schedule disassembly and cleaning times to minimize production interruptions.
Skills:
Mechanical disassembly and assembly skills, including the use of manual and power tools. Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety standards.
Inspection skills to identify defects and damage.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
