ABOUT THE ROLE 

The primary responsibility of this position is to support the people and culture functions within a specified area “region” of the company. This support includes employee investigations, conflict resolution, managing worker’s compensation, benefits, performance reviews, leave of absence, employee data, on-boarding and off-boarding, compliance adherence, completing assigned reporting functions and ad hoc projects. This position reports to the Vice President of People and Culture.

  • Provides coaching and guidance to store leadership and field operations on company policies and conflict resolutions regarding employee conflict.
  • Deploys and analyzes surveys, interviews, and other resources to conduct research regarding the activities, processes, and leadership within the company.
  • Manages the on-boarding and off-boarding of restaurant leadership and home office employees.
  • Serves as an expert in employee-related regulations and laws.
  • Investigates and documents complaints and resolutions.
  • Manages the accommodation process as it relates to work restrictions or disabilities. 
  • Reviews, audits  and corrects all HR data.
  • Researches new and existing regulations and provides recommended content to communicate policies, procedures, and processes tied to the information.
  • Manages the documentation process and the workflows of employee data, safety, and compliance. 
  • Manages all aspects employee benefits; including wellness programs, enrollment, communication, processes, and member access.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Human Resources required or a minimum of 3-years’ experience in a management role in Human Resources
  • 3 years or more experience with employee relations and conducting investigations
  • SHRM-CP certification or higher
  • Experience with managing, auditing, and building reports in a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Strong understanding of employment compliance regulations and practices.
  • Experience using various platforms such as Microsoft Word & Excel, Google Docs & Sheets, and Adobe.
  • Passion for the field of Human Resources
