As a Lead Program Manager, Talent Curation on the Talent Management team, you will be responsible for the development, growth and implementation of some of Upworks largest and unique talent programs while leading a team. This role will collaborate with talent, clients and cross-functional partners to bring talent programs to life. With deep staffing and recruiting experience, you know what ‘great’ looks like. You have a bias for action, and ensure that clients, internal partners, and candidates who move through our process have an outstanding experience. This role reports to the Manager, Talent Management.
Your Responsibilities:(H3 & bold)
- Lead a team of recruiters and sourcers to support the recruitment and pre-vetting of talent for client needs both on and off the platform.
- Responsible for leading and managing individual client recruitment projects including scoping the program needs, developing the recruitment strategy and deploying the program or initiative.
- Liaises with client and sourcing partners on talent curation planning.
- Support cross functional needs in developing and maintaining talent curation programs
- Develop and maintain documentation, reporting and metrics for each unique program.
- Manage internal relationships with cross-functional teams to maximize program success

- Strong understand and knowledge of global recruitment and sourcing strategies
- Has created, measured and deployed pre-vetting programs
- Metrics centric and data driven
- Experienced working with cross functional partners including product, sales, delivery, recruiting, marketing and operations.
The annual base salary for this position in California and Washington ranges from $94,000-144,000. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position in California and Washington, and individual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for the annual bonus plan or sales incentive plan and eligibility to participate in our long term equity incentive program.
