Job Summary
An opportunity exists for a proven new business sales professional joining the enterprise sales team. The role is targeting the Energy & Utilities Sectors and will focus on driving expansion in the North American market. What You’ll Do
- Secure business from new clients and manage growth of existing clients.
- Attend industry conventions, trade shows, exhibitions as determined by management.
- Report regularly on business results and forecasts.
- Work closely with leadership to demonstrate and scale their solution to meet individual client needs.
- Identify high potential sales opportunities through aggressive prospecting and thorough qualification.
- Create detailed quarterly plans that include account by account strategy to ensure successful and accurate execution.
- Manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales.
- Drive Pipeline development.
- Create and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure over-achievement.
- Engage with prospect organizations to position Urbint solutions through value-based selling, business case definition, return on investment analysis, references and analyst data.
- Work with management and cross functionally to develop a strategic account plan for each named account, whether a new logo prospect or existing Urbint customer account with cross/upsell potential.
Who You Are
- Three or more years of proven Sales Account Executive experience.
- Successfully sold Software as a Service (“SaaS”) business concepts and value propositions (Solution Selling).
- Successful history of net new business sales (direct), with the ability to prove consistent delivery against targets.
- Proven track record of sales overachievement.
- Ability to travel.
- Motivated, energetic, high integrity, and driven.
- Excellent management, organizational, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of employees/executives and customers.
- Empathetic, positive, and has a strong desire to help customers reach their goals.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- A passion for technology and for being a part of a fast-growing SaaS company.
- Experience selling to Energy, Utilities and Infrastructure sectors preferred.
Compensation
- The target base salary for this role is $90,000 to $100,000
- On-target earnings is $180,000 to $200,000 (100% of Base)
