What are the responsibilities and job description for the URBN Flow Coordinator (Day Shift) position at URBN?
Overview:
Candidate should be a motivated team player with a positive attitude and possess good organizational and communication skills. Individual should be able to function well in a multi-task environment with attention to detail, and willing to accept new and diverse assignments. Candidate must be able to work with all organizational levels including fellow-employees, customers and management.
Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday 6am-4:30pm
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Work with systems-Vision, WM, SCADA, and Microsoft applications.
o Primarily will work in Warehouse Manhattan.
• Partner with Picking to research missing totes, shortages, and pick progress on waves.
• Create waves based on staff levels, production goals, Order ship dates.
• Send out Bi-Hourly updates to management.
• Manage and update goals and staffing spreadsheet.
• Communication with Flow supervisor and Ops Manager for any delay in wave movement.
• Ensure wave reconciliation of materials that have scanning errors or need manual sortation.
• Call maintenance when mechanical and systems issues arise.
• Promote safety within the department and throughout the facility.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
• All other duties assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:
• Solid computer skills
Microsoft Excel, Outlook, SCADA, Vision, WM Systems
Physical Requirements:
• Stand / walk for an extended time period
• Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 55 pounds
• Operate warehouse equipment as required for position (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) which requires coordinated movement
