We are currently seeking a Registrar to join our US Colleges Team in CA. This role will office in our Riverside campus and travel to the other campuses as needed located in San Diego, Victorville, Van Nuys, Santa Ana and Montclair. In this position you will be responsible for the overall operations of the academic records office, including areas such as management of student records, petitions, graduation process, monitoring academic guidelines, degree audit reporting system and related matters. You will assist in the management of the student registration process and with student schedules. You will also evaluate and resolve student inquiries, issues and problems, and ensure that appropriate action is taken.
Primary/Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement systems to maintain student academic records; administers storage, security, accuracy and preservation of academic files in accordance with company policy, accreditation standards and privacy laws
Interpret academic rules and regulations; monitor academic progress, coordinate student status (such as suspension, academic awards, etc.)
Manage grade and transcript processing; coordinates academic information for student graduation clearance
Evaluate transfer credit from outside institutions to determine transfer status
Facilitates IEC campus to campus transfer process
Provides special program certifications
Compiles statistical information and prepares reports
Coordinates student grade petition process, responds to inquiries concerning academic performance and resolves problems regarding the management of student records
Assist with the implementation of academic policy and procedures
Complies with all Federal, State, accreditation and institutional policies and procedures
Post daily attendance and externship hours
Post grades, test scores and final grades
Perform any grade changes with appropriate documentation
Process all status changes (drops, graduates, LOA)
Assists DOE with preparing the 5 day assessment form
Schedule and activate new students
Schedule term class
Monitor and maintain seat availability for each program and session
Print progress reports and distribute to students monthly
Other duties as assigned.
A high school diploma and or a diploma from a nationally or regionally accredited school in business; or at least 1 - 3 years experience in an office environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
English will be the primary language used; bilingual abilities useful but not required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as business correspondence, operating, policy and procedural manuals.
Ability to read and write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of students or staff.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to travel to the various campuses as needed.

Salary : $22 - $27
