What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chemical Processing Operator position at US Ecology?
What is the job?
The Chemical Processing Operator controls equipment and systems to pre-treat hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with all applicable regulations.
Including:
Performing sample testing and lab work, and then performing the chemical treatment required
Loading and unloading bulk and containerized materials using light equipment.
Operating chemical process equipment, filter presses, and filtration systems.
You may also
Perform daily inspections of facility and storage tanks.
Process inbound and outbound paperwork including customer manifests.
Operate equipment to empty oil drums and transfer solids and fluids to storage tanks.
Manage solids and chemical-treated fluids in a storage facility.
Performs general housekeeping, including cleaning tankers, and maintenance of equipment and site.
What you need to apply
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
