US Farathane is seeking a Dimensional Lab Technician/Polyworks Scanning Technician working fully onsite at our Auburn Hills facility located on Harmon Road.
US Farathane is a leading Tier One automotive supplier to domestic and offshore OEMs. We offer a wide range of highly engineered plastic injection-molded components, making them available in a variety of sizes, shapes, and designs and supply both functional and decorative parts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to operate 3D scanners utilizing Polyworks scanning software.
- Ability to operate hand measurement instruments (Calipers, Micrometers, Height gage, etc.)
- Full understanding of G.D.T and its fundamentals and how to apply each to each job and, or task performed.
- Ability to understand, communicate and generate dimensional reports to all intended audiences in a clear and concise manner.
- Understanding of customer requirements and ability to satisfy those requirements in each job and or tasked performed.
- Ability to perform hand instrument calibration, when applicable.
- Polyworks software operation (Scanner)
- PC-DMIS software operation (CMM), preferred but not required.
- G.D.T understanding and implementation.
- Hand measuring equipment operation and calibration, when applicable.
