For more information, please visit www.hl.com Scope: Houlihan Lokey is looking for a Workday Payroll Analyst to join the Information Technology Team. This team member will be responsible in leading ongoing Workday Payroll projects, support and postproduction ownership. This role is key in optimizing HR & Payroll workflows with Workday, improve data & analytics capabilities of the firm, and ongoing management of the HRIS system for the firm. We are looking for a forward-thinking problem solver with superb communication skills. Responsibilities: Partner with HR management, HR functional areas SME's to analyze work process design and develop the implementation of internal and external procedures for improving manual functions by deploying automated solutions. Collaborate with process owners to identify, recommend, and implement best practices, standard methodologies and user-friendly process improvements to support long term business goals. Maintain business process change coordination amongst Workday SME’s, with heavy focus on Payroll and HCM workstreams, to minimize cross-team impact Field and respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies as required. Such as assisting in system problems and data errors by researching and resolving day to day Workday US Payroll issues  Ensure thorough documentation of requirements, configuration, test plans, and end-to-end processes Build project plans, ensures adherence to project schedules, maintains a systems orientation and can work effectively with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning. In partnership with the L&D team, provide training support and develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation for newly implemented functionality. Management of new Workday releases and leading optimization of the eco-system. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems preferred. Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills Comfort in dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Must be a motivated, confident self-starter with strong technical aptitude and ability to learn quickly through instruction and self-training Strong team orientation; capability of interacting with internal and external stakeholders to direct prioritization of HRIS-related activity and to drive product vision and roadmap Working knowledge of HRIS systems and MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.) Minimum of 3 years of experience with Workday HCM & Payroll configuration COVID vaccination required, subject to applicable state and federal law Preferred Qualifications: Extensive background with HR Workday implementation experience in the following areas: HCM Payroll (US minimum, global preferred) Core & Advanced Compensation Strong understanding of HR, Payroll and related business process framework, Workday Security and inbound and outbound integrations out of Workday We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
