- Problem solving skills
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Able to perform and keep track of multiple tasks
- Experience with CNC’s and conventional Machine Shop equipment
- School Classes in related field and experience required
- Proficient blueprint reading
- Use of precision measuring equipment
- Ability to work with close tolerances
- Understanding of work quality
- Self-Motivated to get assigned work completed
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment
- Welding/silver soldering experience a plus
- Take pride in the work you perform
Daily responsibilities may include:
- Run diverse production jobs
- Proficiently operate grinding machines, honing machine, surface grinder, band saw, drill press, conventional lathes, mills, and CNC equipment
- Address special projects as assigned by Shop Manager
- Clean up at end of shift
Physical requirements include:
- May require up to 100% Standing at times
- Lifting up to 75 lbs
- Pushing and pulling 100 lbs.
- Bending, reaching, kneeling when cleaning
